Krystal Marie Ball

 Krystal Marie Ball (born November 24, 1981) is an American political commentator. She was a former political candidate, and also a television host at MSNBC and a frequent contributor to The Huffington Post and former co-host of The Hill's Rising along with Saagar Enjeti. Enjeti and Ball decided to end the show in May 2021. This was in order for the release of Breaking Points (Krystal and Saagar). Ball is co-hosting Krystal Kyle & Friends. She has appeared on various networks' programs, including CNN, Fox News, Fox News, CNBC, Fox News, and Real Time with Bill Maher. Ball was married to Jonathan Dariyanani in 2020. Ball is able to attribute her interest in politics to being a mother during 2008's primaries. Also, she watched the US election results while in Jordan. She was able to see the effect the election had on the residents of her home country and was inspired to appreciate the global impact of US politics. She was a Senior Fellow at the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party's candidate for Congress in Virginia's 1st congressional District in 2010. She lost to Rob Wittman, the Republican incumbent. From June 2012 to July 2015, she was the co-host of The Cycle on MSNBC. She founded the People's House Project in May 2017 to support Democratic causes.
